catapults

August 14, 2024 - We did a STEM project called “Catapults.” It is similar to a slingshot in which we use 10 popsicles sticks, rubber bands, and a spoon to build a catapult and then to launch an eraser using the catapult we built as far as we can. There were a lot of successful catapults, but in the end, Isaiah and Lanee'a pulled out the win in which their eraser traveled 18 feet!!! Their picture will soon be on the classroom Wall of Fame. We all had fun building catapults.
