flea market #2

December 6, 2024 - Our class had a 2nd Flea Market in which ​students learned how to use money wisely to buy and/or sell products and be successful... and it was FANTASTIC! While "vendors" are allowed to bring little knickknacks and trinkets like toys, candies, or other goodies to sell in class, a lot of students chose instead to bring their own creations to the market. There were flowers, paintings, bracelets, drawings, plushies, and even therapy sessions!!! Such creative money making schemes! 😎
Each vendor set up (and paid for) their own booth to display the goods (and "forced" tip jars). Buyers used class money to purchase the things they want. Bargaining ability is a must have, and math skills are practiced constantly in this class flea market.
​We had a lot of fun! The final Flea Market will be in March 2024.
