LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
January 31, 2025 - Our class celebrated the Year of the Snake on January 31. To begin, Allona represented the class to wish Mr. Pham a "happy new year, good health, and lose some weight!!!" Then it's Mr. Pham's turn to wish us a happy new year with a lot of success. Afterwards, Mr. Pham handed out “Red Envelopes” that we made but with a special Year of the Snake lucky money inside to wish us good fortune through the New Year 2025.
After the ceremonies, we played Lunar New Year "games of chance" using class money and bought munchies from the "Snake" store. It was a lot of fun celebrating the Year of the Snake and playing games with friends.
