monthly newsletters
Our Class publishes a newsletter, "The Class Times," at the end of each month. The main purpose for our newsletters is to share with parents what we have done throughout the month and announce what's coming up next month. Most of all, working on the newsletter provides an opportunity for students to express themselves through writing, practicing real-life writing skills as they produce newsletters for friends and family to enjoy.
The newsletter project is for the students but also is a way for parents to see how the children are doing in class by reading the newsletter each month. With parents and students participation both in and out of the classroom, we can look forward to a productive, creative, and enjoyable year together.
The Class Newsletter will be sent home at the end of the month and a digital copy posted on our website.
